Itinerary

“INTRODUCTION TO LAKE COMO”

Tour duration:
1 day (approx. 7 hours)

Private van/minibus  +  private boat

Guide in English

Itinerary:
Start from Como, Milan or any other location (on-site pickup at your hotel/apartment).

Drive to Bellagio through the Ghisallo Pass: panoramic views of the lake.
Madonna del Ghisallo Church and Bike Museum on request.

Bellagio: guided walking tour of the town (see an introduction video here).

After the visit of Bellagio:
1, 2 or 3 hours Private Boat Tour with Driver and Guide. Excursion  in the center of the lake with views of the main villas and highlights of Lake Como.
Cost: Euro 250 per hour; will be paid on the spot.
On request: visit of Villa Balbianello (Star Wars and James Bond location).
The Villa is closed on Mondays and Wednesdays.  DO NOT BOOK ! the tickets for the Villa in advance; you will pay at the entrance. Entrance ticket to Villa Balbianello: Euro € 15 per person.

Return to Bellagio.

Car-ferry boat to Varenna: guided walking tour of the town (see an introduction video here).

Lunch in Bellagio or Varenna: time for lunch on your own; restaurants with typical local specialties will be suggested.  Not included.

If enough time: visit of medieval Castle of Vezio.

Return: drive back to your hotel/apartment.

PLEASE NOTE:
-Most public villas are closed from November to February
-During low season (from November to February) and anytime of the year, in case of bad weather the boat excursion cannot be made.
